L’Oréal Phl, Shopee launch search for livestreaming talent pool  

Top five winners shall become the official live streamers of Maybelline, Garnier and L’Oréal Paris’ official and will win over PHP 125,000 in prize money on top of sales commission and product offers.

To further support consumer’s online shopping experience and enhance real-time engagement in e-commerce, L’Oréal Philippines, in partnership with Shopee Philippines, is looking for its newest livestreaming stars. Top five winners shall become the official live streamers of Maybelline, Garnier and L’Oréal Paris’ official and will win over PHP 125,000 in prize money on top of sales commission and product offers.

The Star Search Competition is an exclusive initiative of L’Oréal Philippines and Shopee to discover up-and-coming creative talents who are passionate about beauty, e-commerce, and digital content. L’Oréal Philippines hopes to empower the everyday consumer by giving them a platform to share what they love about beauty and showcase their knack for streaming. With the launch of the Star Search Talent Competition, L’Oréal Philippines seizes opportunities of digital channels and continues to invest in the e-commerce space.  

L’Oréal Philippines is inviting beauty lovers to join the Star Search in three steps:

  2. Fill up your details and livestreaming experience on this registration form until March 9, 2022: https://shp.ee/dzfmjwj  
  3. If selected to be part of the competition, attend the trainings hosted by L’Oréal and Shopee Philippines  

The top five winners with the highest points from the Star Search Competition will win:  

Top 1: PHP 50,000; Top 2: PHP 30,000; Top 3: PHP 20,000; Top 4: PHP 15,000; Top 5: PHP 10,000  

On top of this, the Top 5 will also be signed as official L’Oréal live streamers to receive sales commission and product allowance of up to PHP 10,000 a month for 6 months, and a chance to receive more VIP perks and freebies as an official brand live streamer. The remaining contestants get a chance to win up to PHP 3,000 each depending on points earned in the competition.

As part of the preparation process, the winners will also receive technical training from Shopee and an opportunity to become part of Shopee’s own pool of livestream hosts. L’Oréal Philippines will also provide winners with consultations to enhance participants’ personal image and branding​.
