OPPO unveiled the A83, a “full screen” selfie-centric smartphone with A.I. Beauty Technology and Facial Unlock features.
Priced at P9,990, OPPO A83 has a 5.7-inch high definition (HD) 18:9 full screen display with a resolution of 1440×720-pixel. Powering the device is the MediaTek Helio 2.5GHz octa-core processor and 3GB of RAM.
The unit runs on Nougat version of Android 7.1 operating system, and comes with 32GB of internal storage, and a 3,180mAh battery that can go up to 13.5 hours of normal usage based on industry battery benchmark tests. It is also equipped with 2A charging compatibility that makes charging faster.
OPPO A83 features the A.I. Beauty Technology. The device’s 8-megapixel (MP) front camera can detect more than 200 facial recognition spots. It also features an auto mode for A.I. recommended beautification. The device also comes with Speedy Facial Unlock feature.
