LAS VEGAS — At the first SuiteWorld held after Oracle completed its acquisition of NetSuite in November last year, the new Oracle NetSuite Global Business Unit announced the addition of two products to its portfolio: SuitePeople, an integrated and flexible human resources system, and SuiteSuccess, a unified industry programme designed to take companies to the cloud in 100 days or fewer.
“Today we are announcing what has been missing all these 18 years: SuitePeople, the world’s most unified and flexible HR system ever built,” said Oracle and NetSuite executive vice president Jim McGeever during the conference’s opening keynote last April 25.
McGeever explained that SuitePeople weaves people data throughout the suite, giving businesses complete control over their core HR processes.
With SuitePeople, employees are able to request time off, access employee directories and organizational charts, monitor upcoming vacation schedules and new hires or publicly recognize good work.
SuitePeople also helps empower managers and HR professionals to streamline employee information, new hires, employee onboarding, promotions and compensation changes, all from a single suite.
SuitePeople also includes tailored regulatory compliance features, automated tax calculation and reporting in more than 100 countries and customer transactions in over 200. It is natively built on the NetSuite cloud suite to add all the HR processes to a single ERP platform.
“You cannot buy SuitePeople without buying the rest of NetSuite,” said McGeever. “It doesn’t work.”
From zero to cloud in 100 days
SuiteSuccess is the culmination of a multi-year transformation effort to combine the NetSuite unified suite, industry-leading practices, a new customer engagement model, and business optimization methods into a unified, industry cloud solution.
“SuiteSuccess is a stairway to heaven, unlike our competitors who put you on they highway to hell,” said McGeever.
There are 12 SuiteSuccess editions for eight industries, namely: advertising, media, publishing; financial technology; manufacturing; nonprofit; retail; service-based businesses; software/internet; and wholesale distribution.
Within each industry offering, NetSuite has built unique micro-vertical solutions to address specific market needs.
SuiteSuccess has over 300 customers and is available now, expanding globally into more industries and to current NetSuite customers over the course of this year.
“SuiteSuccess is what is next for NetSuite and our customers,” said McGeever. “When we started SuiteSuccess, we had high expectations, but the results our customers have achieved have gone way beyond our wildest dreams.”
SuiteSuccess is essentially a complete suite to support the modern business including ERP, CRM, PSA, omnichannel commerce, HR, and Business Intelligence (BI) built on the NetSuite cloud platform, continually updated with capabilities and technologies to support all eight industries.
The suite offers leading practices for each industry and role including workflows, KPI’s, reports, dashboards and metrics, with the flexibility to personalize on the NetSuite platform from the initial sales contact to ongoing support.
Intelligent staged approach via NetSuite’s industry ‘stairway’ allows companies to consume capabilities based on their business needs. Re-imagined consumption model drives faster time to value, better ROI and greater user adoption. Companies can now go from zero to cloud in 100 days.
McGeever also said that with SuiteSuccess, customers can go live 60 percent faster than before. He added that the average page load time is 66 percent faster and that implementation costs are 18 percent less.
