Inspira Enterprise to open its fifth Cyber Fusion Center in PH

According to the Economic Times, the Asia-Pacific region faced the maximum number of cyberattacks for the second consecutive year in 2022, accounting for 31 percent of all incidents remediated worldwide.

The Philippines, like the rest of Asia and the world, has been plagued by several cybersecurity challenges due to the increasing digital transformation initiatives.

According to the Economic Times, the Asia-Pacific region faced the maximum number of cyberattacks for the second consecutive year in 2022, accounting for 31 percent of all incidents remediated worldwide.

The same trend is seen in the Philippines. In a recent report, the Department of Information and Communications Technology  (DICT) noted that about 3,000 “high-level cyberattacks” were recorded in the country from 2020 to 2022. The agency also monitored around 54,000 cyber threats during the period.

For organizations, these cybersecurity challenges present significant impact. Secure Connections report revealed that businesses in the Philippines that utilize critical infrastructure estimated to lose approximately PhP6.16 billion in revenue per day due to the increasing sophistication of threats. In fact, Cybercrime globally will cost an estimated USD $10.5 Trillion annually by 2025.

In response to these challenges, Inspira Enterprise is set to open its fifth state-of-the-art Cyber Fusion Center (CFC) in the country to expand its global cybersecurity coverage.  This will serve as in-country services center for Filipino conglomerates, near shore for ASEAN multi-nationals as well as in region for Asia Pacific clients.

This new facility will offer a comprehensive set of cyber threat management capabilities, housing both the Security Operations Center (SOC) and the Network Operations Center (NOC) to enable a unique, unified, and integrated approach to end-to-end security. At the same time, the state-of-the-art facility is also a Customer Experience Centre (CEC) where Inspira can show-case their Innovation in Cybersecurity as well as Analytics.  This new CFC is fully integrated with Inspira’s other CFCs, the original being in India, the United Arab Emirates and The United States of America to provide customers with full coverage, regardless of time or location.

By leveraging this cutting-edge facility, organizations can rely on a proactive and coordinated approach which covers prediction to response and remediation swiftly detecting, responding to and mitigating threats in real time, safeguarding their operations against cyberattacks.

“This strategic move by Inspira demonstrates the company’s commitment to its global growth strategy and its multi-million-dollar investment in cybersecurity talent, packaged solutions, and industry-based expertise. With the addition of our fifth CFC, we aim to strengthen further our presence not just in the ASEAN region but also on a global scale,” said Inspira’s ASEAN President, Josef Figueroa.

The official launch of Inspira’s Cyber Fusion Center in the Philippines is scheduled this July 20, 2023. This facility is part of Inspira’s initiatives as it continues to lead the way in providing transformative cybersecurity solutions, enabling businesses to thrive in the digital age.
