‘Mad Dogs’ series to premiere exclusively on HOOQ on Jan. 23

The critically acclaimed Mad Dogs series will premiere exclusively on video-on-demand service, HOOQ, on January 22 (January 23 in Manila) worldwide, same day as the U.S. telecast.

Distributed by Sony Pictures Entertainment, Mad Dogs is created for the digital platform with all 10 episodes, shot entirely in 4K, dropping in at the same time, according to HOOQ Philippines’ marketing manager, Sheila Paul.

Mad Dogs is a remake of a British TV series from 2011. Starring Steve Zahn and Micheal Imperioli, this edgy thriller is a story about four friends who visit their rich but unhappy buddy Milo, played by Billy Zane, who lives in a beautiful beachside villa in Belize, a country in Central America.

After a night of raucous fun, things quickly spiral into a labyrinthine of lies, deception and murder that will put the best of friendships to the ultimate test.

In addition to this latest action thriller, HOOQ customers can also indulge in a diverse and expansive selection of over 35,000 hours of movies and TV series with hot favorites and award-winning series such as Gotham, The Flash, Mad Men, Ash vs Evil Dead, Nashville and awesome blockbusters, Spider-Man, Kill Bill and Harry Potter.
