BillEase ‘Buy Now, Pay Later’ now available via Maya QRPh and POS Terminals

The feature is now available through Maya Business via its payment gateway and point-of-sale (POS) terminals.

BillEase, a digital consumer finance platform in the Philippines, integrated its Buy Now, Pay Later (BNPL) service into the payment solutions of Maya, the Philippines’ largest fintech ecosystem. The feature is now available through Maya Business via its payment gateway and point-of-sale (POS) terminals.

Customers transacting at Maya-powered merchants—whether online or in-store—can now select BillEase at checkout. Using the BillEase app, they can scan a QR Ph code and split their purchases into installments—without needing a credit card. The feature is rolling out across thousands of merchants nationwide, powered by Maya Business.

“With this integration, retailers and merchants using Maya’s payment solutions can now offer our installment option, making purchases more affordable and accessible,” said Kurt Molina, Head of POS Product at BillEase. “We are able to provide a BNPL experience that enables more Filipinos to access flexible payment options without requiring a credit card.”

Transactions up to PHP 2,000 are eligible for 0% interest within one month, while larger purchases can be paid over longer terms with low-interest rates, whether in-store via Maya POS or online through Maya Checkout.

“This partnership gives merchants and their customers a seamless and flexible way to pay,” said Pete Cruz, Head of Enterprise at Maya. “By adding the BillEase option into our payment channels and leveraging QRPh, we are helping businesses expand financial access and drive more sales through flexible payment options.”
