Pray.com launched in Phl

A website and mobile app that promote the power of prayer, Pray.com aims to enable more people of faith to make prayer a part of their daily lives.

Digital destination for faith Pray.com, driven by a mission to solve society’s biggest challenges by growing faith and cultivating community using prayers, was officially launched in the Philippines.

A website and mobile app that promote the power of prayer, Pray.com aims to enable more people of faith to make prayer a part of their daily lives. The platform has multiple functions that can be accessed by registered users: daily prayers every morning, nightly prayers before bedtime, audio Bible stories, Christian meditations, prayer plans, podcasts of pastors from around the world including globally renowned Christian personalities like John Piper, TD Jakes, Joyce Meyer, Manny Pacquiao, and even Philippine pastors such as James Alton of Favor Church, Paul and Shoddy Chase and Mylene Evangelista of New Life Church, and Bo Sanchez of Light Jesus Family. It also has inspirational contents and music of different genres which enhance connections with God.

“Pray.com is so excited to be coming to the Philippines. It is the digital destination for faith. At Pray.com, we give you the power to pray and embrace God’s words in a new and exciting way,” said app founder Steve Gatena.

Founded by its CEO Gatena in 2016, Pray.com is now the world’s No. 1 prayer app with members reaching over 10-million Christians worldwide. According to Gatena, Pray.com became the world’s highest grossing religious app of all time in 2020. With this achievement, they decided to give back to the global community by offering Bible-based contents created by some of the world’s biggest celebrities and were launched with some of the world’s biggest corporate partners.  The app is available for download on the Google Play and Apple App Store.

Users of the app will not incur any charges from simply downloading it or creating a Pray account unless they sign up for the monthly subscription of PhP99 or $2 to the Premium Audio Bible Experience.

Pray.com has chosen singer/songwriter and ultimate performer Gary Valenciano to be its first ambassador to the Philippines. Known for his unwavering Christian faith and devotion, Valenciano is the ideal choice of the app, which is now loaded with content featuring Gary V.

“Gary V. is an inspiration to Pray.com and the world. The way he talks about his faith, his willingness to reach people directly, and encourage them to pray – it’s special,” said Gatena, as he explains the organization’s decision to partner with Gary Valenciano.

For his part, Valenciano was honored to join Pray.com and introduce the empowering prayer app to Filipinos. “I want to encourage everyone to pray. I have survived so many health challenges. I am here with you today only by the grace of God. I am unashamed to share my faith in my Lord Jesus Christ. I am grateful, first of all to God, and to Pray.com for giving me a platform to help others draw closer to the Almighty God who gave His only Son to save us,” says Valenciano.
