Canon launched the new PowerShot SX730 HS high-zoom compact camera. This pocket-sized addition provides high quality imaging and encompasses a high-sensitivity 20.3 megapixels CMOS sensor, up to 40x optical zoom, 180-degrees tilting LCD screen and advanced features such as Smooth Skin mode for enhancing self-portraits.

The PowerShot SX730 HS weighs 300 grams. With a high zoom capability of up to 40x which can be doubled to 80x zoom with Canon Zoomplus technology, the PowerShot SX730 HS is capable of capturing details of distant subjects.
The PowerShot SX730 HS is also equipped with the Zoom Framing Assist feature. Should the subject move out of frame while user is shooting, Zoom Framing Assist feature can be activated with a push of the button, to zoom out and quickly locate the subject, keeping it in frame. In addition, the Auto Zoom feature also enhances framing precision to help users achieve shots without complication. In essence, the function will enable the camera to adjust the zoom factor automatically, to maintain the optimum framing based on users’ desired setting.
The PowerShot SX730 HS’s tilting LCD screen allows it to flip up to 180 degrees upward and downward. It also has three levels of effects to choose from via the Smooth Skin mode, available in both the Self-Portrait mode and Regular mode. The PowerShot SX730 HS is also equipped with a host of connectivity features, such as Wi-Fi and NFC (Near Field Communications) capabilities. Additionally, it has built-in Bluetooth low energy technology.
