Practo, a healthcare platform, reiterated its plans to grow globally, highlighting its presence in the Philippine market where it now has over 11,000 or over 70% of all doctors across 17 cities in the Greater Manila area, making it the largest and most extensive doctor database in the country.
Since October 2015, Practo’s user base in the Philippines has grown over four times and appointments booked on the platform have grown by about 25 times, demonstrating howmore consumers now use Practo to book their appointments. Its products Practo Ray and Practo Search are already being used in the Philippines.
Practo will also soon cover Cebu, Cavite, and Batangas; as well as expand product lines to cover more healthcare segments across wellness, fitness, medicine, preventive and curative as well to ensure that consumers have a single app for all their healthcare requirements.
Just recently, Practo has also announced its entry into Brazil, the largest market in Latin America and the 5thlargest economy in the world. Practo will start with São Paulo and will bring two of its products – Practo Search and Practo Ray to the market.
