For many households, rainy weather can make laundry more challenging, with clothes taking longer to dry and laundry loads piling up. TCL, the Philippines’ No. 1 panel TV brand and a leading global technology innovator, addressed this everyday challenge through Labapalooza, a community activation held in partnership with Robinsons Appliances.
Labapalooza went around different locations in Tacloban and Cainta, giving the consumers the opportunity to bring their laundry to a free pop-up laundromat and experience TCL’s smart washer-dryer solutions firsthand. Beyond trying out the machines, attendees could learn more about their features and capabilities, giving them a better understanding of how smart laundry technology can fit into their everyday routines.

While laundry was at the heart of Labapalooza, the activation offered more than a product demonstration. Attendees could explore interactive booths, enjoy karaoke, receive exclusive freebies, and sample treats from local food stalls, giving families and community members more reasons to attend the event.
The best highlight of the community activation was an exclusive, hands-on opportunity for attendees to try first hand the all-new TCL Smart Laundry Expert Washer-Dryer Series. By seamlessly combining heavy-duty chore relief with fun activities on the side, the event truly simplified daily routines—allowing local residents to cross off their weekend laundry tasks while enjoying a fun-filled day out with the family.
The community activation also featured a live auction, where attendees had the chance to bid for a TCL washer-dryer unit. The activity added excitement to the proceedings while giving consumers an opportunity to bring home TCL’s smart home technology at a special value.
The initiative also provided TCL with an opportunity to give back to the communities it visited. As part of its community effort, TCL donated four high-efficiency washing machines to Tahanang Walang Hagdanan Beneficiaries and One Cainta Sunset Retreat Home for the Elderly, helping provide greater convenience and support to the organization and the people it serves.
Now in its second successful year, the Labapalooza reinforces TCL’s commitment to bringing smart home solutions directly to local communities. By seamlessly integrating interactive product education, live entertainment, and value-driven engagement, the multi-city activation offers consumers a hands-on experience with TCL’s newest laundry lineup.
