Global mobility and delivery platform inDrive has joined the World Economic Forum’s (WEF) Unicorn Community, an invitation-only group of hyper-growth companies recognized for driving innovation and creating positive impact across industries and communities worldwide.
The recognition highlights inDrive’s efforts to build a more people-driven digital economy, where technology creates more access to opportunities, promotes transparency, and addresses the needs of local communities. Through its participation in WEF’s Unicorn Community, inDrive will contribute insights on mobility, innovation, and economic inclusion spanning areas such as women’s entrepreneurship and education from emerging markets, including the Philippines.
The World Economic Forum (WEF) is the International Organization for Public-Private Cooperation, bringing together leaders from business, government, academe, and civil society to help address global challenges through the power of human ingenuity, innovation, and collaboration. WEF’s Unicorn Community is one of three Global Innovator Communities that provide a platform for engaging with public- and private-sector leaders and contributing new solutions to overcome current crises and build future resilience.
Since inDrive’s launch in the Philippines in 2024, the company has steadily expanded its presence in the country, which it considers one of its fastest-growing mobility markets in Southeast Asia. In 2025, market intelligence firm Sensor Tower ranked inDrive among the most-downloaded travel apps in the country and the second-most-downloaded ride-hailing app globally.
To further support the local community, inDrive has worked with institutions to help address transportation, safety, and public welfare needs. The company recently partnered with the Department of Health (DOH) to promote smoke- and vape-free rides, encouraging healthier commuting environments for both passengers and drivers.
inDrive has also strengthened its engagement with other government institutions through its partnerships with the Philippine National Police (PNP) and the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA) to support skills development initiatives and safer mobility for all. These collaborations reflect the company’s broader approach to innovation, combining technology and human collaboration to create real-world impact.
