Sophos appoints Amy Chua as director for channels for ASEAN & Korea

In her new capacity, Chua will spearhead Sophos’ partner strategy and execution across ASEAN and Korea, with a mandate to accelerate partner-driven growth in the rapidly evolving cybersecurity landscape.

Sophos, a global cybersecurity leader, today announced the appointment of Amy Chua as channels director for ASEAN and Korea, underscoring the company’s continued investment in its channel-first strategy to drive partner-led growth across the region.

In her new capacity, Chua will spearhead Sophos’ partner strategy and execution across ASEAN and Korea, with a mandate to accelerate partner-driven growth in the rapidly evolving cybersecurity landscape. Leading a specialized multi-market team, she will focus on fortifying the regional distributor and partner ecosystem, implementing robust sales governance, and deploying scalable go-to-market models designed to deliver consistent, high-value outcomes for the channel.

“ASEAN and Korea remain important growth markets for Sophos, and our partners play a central role in how we scale and deliver stronger cybersecurity outcomes for customers,” said Chad Cleevely, senior director, channel sales, Asia Pacific and Japan, Sophos.

Leveraging her deep expertise in data and analytics, Chua is focused on expanding Sophos’ market presence in the AI-driven security space, helping partners navigate the growing complexity of modern threats with intelligent, data-led defences.

Chua brings significant experience across the channel and technology ecosystems, backed by more than 20 years in the technology sector. She has a strong track record in partner-led growth, channel capability development, and operational excellence across regional markets. Prior to Sophos, she held pivotal leadership roles at Google and Microsoft, building a deep expertise in sales strategy, channel development, and regional market expansion.

Her appointment further strengthens Sophos’ regional channel leadership as the company continues to deepen partner engagement and execute on its channel-first strategy.
