This seven-seater SUV sets a new standard in mobility, and highlights the firm’s commitment of expanding its lineup to offer customers advanced hybrid and electric technologies.

To meet the performance demands of modern drivers, Kia Sorento Turbo Hybrid uses a 1.6-liter turbocharged Smartstream Gasoline Direct Injection engine paired with an electric motor and a lithium-ion traction battery. This intelligent hybrid powertrain generates a combined output of 235 PS and 367 Nm of torque, ensuring efficient, smooth acceleration and dynamic power distribution through a six-speed automatic transmission. When navigating city streets on a weekday or taking a weekend road trip with family and friends, the turbo hybrid SUV ensures performance confidence and safety.
Available in front-wheel drive (FWD) and all-wheel drive (AWD) variants, the Kia Sorento Turbo Hybrid is equipped with selectable drive modes – Eco, Sport, and Smart – as well as three terrain-specific options – Snow, Mud and Sand – to maximize traction over various driving surfaces. There is also a dual12.3-inch digital display in the EX+ and SX variants offering modern and stylish interface. Available in four stylish colors – Volcanic Sand Brown, Aurora Black Pearl, Silky Silver, and Snow White Pearl – the EX Turbo Hybrid FWD is priced at PhP2,188,000, the mid-trim EX+ Turbo Hybrid FWD at PhP2,588,000, and the range-topping SX Turbo AWD at PhP2,888,000.
The new Kia Sorento Turbo Hybrid has a comprehensive warranty package – five years or 160,000-km for vehicle, five years or 160,000-km for electric motor, and eight years or 160,000- km for traction battery.

2024 performance
During the launch, Kia Philippines announced it has sold a total 6,692 units of vehicles in 2024, marking an impressive 33% year-on-year growth. The Kia Sonet became the fourth best selling soft compact SUV after just seven months on the market. It also introduced the new Kia Carnival offering both diesel and hybrid power mix, and the Kia EV, an electric SUV already making a splash in the industry and a key part of the firm’s electrification initiative.
