PLDT Enterprise hosts Modern Network Summit

PLDT Enterprise, in collaboration with Cisco, Fortinet, and Huawei, hosted the Modern Networks Summit, highlighting the group’s commitment to lead the network and digital transformation of Conglomerates, Banking, and Financial sectors through their Managed SD-WAN service. The event also emphasized the transformative impact of SD-WAN and AI technologies to enterprises.

The Modern Networks Summit discussed how PLDT Enterprise’s Managed SD-WAN solution is driving network transformation by showcasing different use-cases for Conglomerates, Banking, and Financial industries. The summit also demonstrated the solution’s ability to provide enhanced connectivity resiliency and network management for multi-branch sites as well as optimized and secured access to cloud environments.

Cisco’s Sarah Quinto, Product Sales Specialist, discussed the importance of a unified platform in managing hybrid networks, particularly in banking and financial institutions. Fortinet’s Fredric Ong, System Engineer, emphasized the significance of network security in the retail industry, focusing on securing and optimizing user experiences for application access. Huawei’s Max Ng, Solution Architect, highlighted how SD-WAN solutions can improve network performance, providing highly resilient connectivity and optimized access to cloud environments.
