Motoring

Following on from this, there have also been strides made in terms of motoring which can help those with a disability to either comfortably travel in a vehicle or, in some cases, drive themselves. Places like Allied Mobility have disabled cars which use ramps, lifts and other features to help those with a disability to travel and provide personal freedom and independence. There are also features like hand pedals and joystick steering wheels that can be used to help those with a disability to drive a vehicle themselves.
