D-Link powers PLDT Fam Cam line with latest security cameras

Designed to enable more Filipinos to embrace a digitally powered lifestyle, these new cameras feature more advanced visual coverage, and motion and sound detection, and deliver high-definition (HD) quality images. The DCS-8000LH and the DCS-8100LH are available through the all-new PLDT Basic Fam Cam and the PLDT Advanced Fam Cam offers, respectively.

D-Link International teamed up with PLDT Home Fam Cam, the telco giant’s home monitoring system, to bring Filipinos better home and office security through two new camera models, the D-Link DCS-8000LH Mini HD Wi-Fi Camera and the D-Link DCS-8100LH HD 180 Degree Wi-Fi Camera.

Designed to enable more Filipinos to embrace a digitally powered lifestyle, these new cameras feature more advanced visual coverage, and motion and sound detection, and deliver high-definition (HD) quality images. The DCS-8000LH and the DCS-8100LH are available through the all-new PLDT Basic Fam Cam and the PLDT Advanced Fam Cam offers, respectively.

The D-Link DCS-8000LH Mini HD Wi-Fi Camera packs 720p HD resolution, 120-degree viewing angle, night vision, motion and sound detection, Bluetooth and IR LEDs, all designed to ensure home or office security both day and night. The DCS-8100LH HD 180 Degree Wi-Fi Camera offers all the same features but with an upgraded 180-degree ultra-wide viewing angle that can pivot, tilt and rotate for even wider area coverage.

The DCS-8100LH also features Wireless Signal Strength LED that identifies the best wireless location for smooth video streaming. It has motion detection and built-in infrared LEDs with a detection range of up to 5 meters. Its microphone allows seamless two-way communication and can pick up and capture sounds for alerting the homeowner.

Both cameras are smart home-ready and easily connect to wireless networks. They support Alexa and Google Home technologies.

The mydlink Lite app also shows notifications, saves snapshots and manages the cameras remotely, giving users control over the security and protection they want for their homes and their families.
