Ricoh Philippines introduces a significant addition to its family of production printers, the Ricoh ProC5200s, a light production printer or commercial production engine designed to help reduce print costs for in-house company print centers and commercial printers.

“With today’s business trend, large corporations with small and frequent commercial print demands are having their own print room or Corporate Reprographics Department (CRD) to reduce their outsourced printing cost. This addresses the needs of urgent print requirements at just the right quantity with high quality outputs” said Eric Sulit, President and CEO of Ricoh Philippines.
Delivering high-volume and high-quality output with minimal footprint, the Ricoh Pro C5200s has print speeds of up to 65 pages per minute (ppm) at 1,200 x 4,800 dpi VCSEL quality, and a duty cycle of up to 300,000 pages per month.
Furthermore, the print quality is enhanced by a fusing belt, which provides more consistent transfers and toner adhesion on specialty stocks. It also allows printing across a wide range of media and with a variety of finishing options.

With a total paper capacity of up to 8,250 sheets and four paper trays available, the Ricoh Pro C5200s series enables users to maintain long stretches of production time even when switching among several media types. This feature combined with the product’s tight registration, saddle-stitching, embedded Paper Library, and folding capabilities, makes it ideal for booklet production that doesn’t slow down for covers or inserts. Optional Cover Interposers and Booklet Finisher options are also available.
Users can also print on thick stock of up to 360 gsm or 13″ x 19.2″ in size to produce direct mail, menus or other items that must be distinct and durable. It is also ideal for printing unique postcards and envelopes, which can be done by feeding coated and textured paper through the optional media trays.
To further assist users, Ricoh’s optional Smart Operation Panel (SOP) facilitates the flow of information between the Ricoh Pro C5200s series, third-party software and other Ricoh devices. The SOP also ushers workflow automation, including moving the most complex jobs to other devices. A variety of scan-to options, including Scan-to-URL, Scan-to-Directory, Scan-to-USB and Scan-to-SD make sharing information fast and simple.
The Ricoh Pro C5200s joins the innovative production printers of Ricoh Philippines – the Ricoh Pro C9100 and the Ricoh Pro C7100X.
The Ricoh Pro C7100X series is a production cut-sheet line that offers a fifth color station for a wider range of applications. These high-speed production color printers and multi-function devices can print with white or clear via the fifth station at print speeds of up to 80 ppm. Printing at 1200 x 4800 dpi with VCSEL image quality on a wide variety of media – ranging from tree-based paper to synthetics and envelopes – the series supports paper weights of up to 360gsm in both simplex and duplex.
On the other hand, Ricoh Pro C9100 series is a high-speed, heavy-segment production color device with speeds of up to 110 and 130 pages per minute (ppm) and the ability to print on media up to 400gsm. It allows print and marketing service providers to produce high-value, high-quality output such as marketing collateral (brochures and flyers), direct mail pieces (coupons and postcards) and even packaging applications.
