Vivo slashes price of V3Max smartphone

Vivo has slashed the selling price of its flagship V3Max smartphone. Consumers can now get their hands on the V3Max for PHP 13,990—PHP 3,000 less than its introductory price of PHP 16,990.

The V3Max is Vivo’s top-of-the-line smartphone in the Philippines. It features a 2.5D Gorilla Glass 5.5-inch Full HD screen with a CNC-machined, zircon-coated metallic body and back, providing a pleasant feel in the hand with its rounded edges and matte texture.

Inside, the V3Max is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 652 1.8GHz octa-core processor with 4GB of RAM, and 32GB of storage expandable up to 128GB via micro SD card. It is also equipped with a long lasting 3,000mAh battery and dual-engine fast-charging technology that is compatible with Qualcomm’s Quick Charge 2.0 standard.

The Vivo V3Max also comes with Vivo’s custom Funtouch OS Android-based operating system, providing premium features that intuitively place major smartphone controls at the fingertips of its users. A fingerprint scanner at the back also ensures security without compromising accessibility, unlocking the phone in as fast as 0.5 seconds in sleep mode. Its faster than faster performance doesn’t stop there—its 8MP front camera and 13MP phase detect autofocus rear camera can also start up in as little as 0.7 seconds and focus on subjects in as fast as 0.2 seconds.

“As consumers increasingly adopt their smartphones as an integral part of their daily lives, we at Vivo strive to provide them with a worthy partner that can keep up with their fast-paced lifestyle. The Vivo V3Max will surely be a more compelling option for users who are looking for an uncompromising device that is packed with flagship features and premium looks that give them value for money,” said Vivo Philippines Vice President Hazel Bascon.

The Vivo V3Max is the third and latest of the existing Vivo devices that received a price cut, along with the Vivo V3 available for PHP 9,990 and the Vivo Y51 for PHP 5,990.
