Filipinos traveling abroad this holiday season can enjoy up to 40% off travel eSIM data packs through Smart Travē, Smart’s travel connectivity app that lets users stay connected across more than 100 destinations worldwide.
As a Smart-backed travel eSIM, Smart Travē gives travelers the convenience of an international eSIM, with the added reassurance of Smart’s local customer support. Unlike generic travel eSIM providers, Smart Travē users can call the Smart hotline should they need assistance while abroad.
Available in time for the busy end-of-year travel season, Smart Travē is making it easier and more affordable for Filipinos to stay connected wherever their journeys take them.
With the special offers on the Smart Travē app, travelers can now enjoy more data roaming credits for less. The 3GB pack is reduced to US$5.75 from US$10. For travelers who need more data throughout their trip, the 10GB pack is now only US$12, down from US$20. 1GB data pack for casual browsing is also available for only $3.
Downloadable on Google Play Store or Apple App Store, Smart Travē enables Filipino travelers to worry less about connectivity costs and focus more on creating memorable experiences — whether experiencing winter in Japan, taking in the festive lights of Hong Kong, exploring Europe’s Christmas markets, or enjoying a tropical escape to Thailand, Vietnam, or Singapore.
By combining convenient connectivity with budget-friendly data options, Smart Travē gives Filipino travelers a simpler and smarter way to stay connected abroad so they can navigate, share, discover, and keep in touch with the people who matter, wherever they go.
Committed to keep Filipinos connected
“The holidays are a time when Filipinos look forward to traveling, reconnecting with loved ones, and creating memorable experiences wherever their journeys take them. With Smart Travē, we want travelers to worry less about connectivity and focus on enjoying the journey. By making the mobile data more affordable and convenient, backed by the support of Smart, we are giving Filipino travelers greater peace of mind to stay connected, share their experiences, and make the most of every trip,” said Albert V. Villa-Real, President and CEO at PLDT Global Corporation and Head of PLDT and Smart International Business.
“Smart’s commitment goes beyond keeping Filipinos connected wherever they are in the Philippines. With Smart Travē, we are extending that same commitment to customers as they travel abroad, giving them access to connectivity across more than 100 destinations,” said Lloyd R. Manaloto, First Vice President and OIC for Smart.
Stay connected for every moment of the journey
For today’s travelers, connectivity is no longer simply a convenience—it is an essential part of the travel experience.
From the moment travelers land at their destination, mobile data helps them navigate unfamiliar streets using maps, book rides to their hotels, check flight and transportation updates, and find restaurants and attractions nearby. It also makes it easier to access digital boarding passes, hotel reservations, travel documents, translation tools, and other important information while on the go.
Connectivity also means travelers can stay in touch with family and friends through messaging and video calls, share their holiday adventures on social media in real time, and quickly reach companions if plans change. For families traveling together, having mobile data can provide added convenience and peace of mind, especially when members temporarily get separated in busy airports, tourist attractions, or shopping districts.
With Smart Travē, travelers can simply choose their destination, select their preferred data package, purchase it through the app, and activate their eSIM on a compatible device, eliminating the need to look for physical SIM cards or depend on public WiFi while abroad.
Whether it is a long-awaited family holiday, a year-end getaway with friends, or a dream trip to experience winter abroad, Smart Travē helps Filipinos make every destination more accessible and every travel moment easier to share with affordable data packs that keep them connected throughout their journey.
