Globe, PRSP partner to empower next-gen communicators

Under the strategic alliance, Globe will serve as the official co-presenter of the PRSP Student Caravans—the flagship educational roadshow of PRSP that aims at upskilling communication and public relations students across the Philippines—as well as its culminating benchmark event, the National Student PR Congress & Grand Prix.

To bridge the gap between academic theory and real-world industry demands, the Public Relations Society of the Philippines (PRSP) and telecommunications giant Globe formally signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) at The Globe Tower in Bonifacio Global City, Taguig.

The partnership formalizes a shared commitment to equip young Filipino communicators with digital-first tools, ethical communication frameworks, and industry mentorship as they prepare to enter an evolving workforce.

Bridging Academe and Industry

As part of its major co-presentation commitment, Globe will actively enrich the educational content across PRSP’s flagship student programs. The telecom leader will provide executive speakership for three PRSP Student Caravan legs as well as a plenary speakership slot at the upcoming National Student PR Congress & Grand Prix.

Additionally, Globe will host an interactive booth activation during the National Student PR Congress & Grand Prix, offering participating students immersive brand experiences, digital tools, and networking opportunities, alongside joint promotional efforts for all events.

By coming on board as co-presenter, Globe will expand the reach of these student-focused engagements, enabling PRSP to scale its educational footprint to more universities and regional learning centers nationwide.

“The future of public relations relies on how well we prepare the next generation today,” said Ana Pista, APR, President of PRSP. “Our partnership with Globe allows us to take the PRSP’s strategic thrust to ‘Steward the Story’ further. Stewarding the story begins with stewarding our students, guiding young communicators across Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao so that they are anchored in truth, ethics, and industry-standard practices.”

Democratizing Digital Readiness

The upskilling initiative aligns with Globe’s broader push to empower young Filipinos through technology, digital literacy, and practical skills development. Globe will contribute insights on digital enablement, responsible technology use, and corporate sustainability.

“As young Filipinos increasingly leverage digital platforms to learn, create, and lead, we must ensure they have the tools and guidance to navigate today’s complex communications landscape,” said Yoly Crisanto, Chief Sustainability and Corporate Communications Officer at Globe. “We are proud to co-present the PRSP Student Caravans as part of our commitment to nurturing young talent, fostering digital literacy, and building a more empowered, future-ready generation.”

Nurturing Future Industry Leaders

The MOU signing was attended by key leaders from both organizations, including PRSP Trustee and Chair of Student Caravan and Grand Prix Steve Michael M. Moore Jr., alongside Globe executives.

“This partnership goes beyond a traditional corporate sponsorship. It is an investment in human capital,” added Steve Michael M. Moore Jr. “By bringing industry experts directly into academic spaces, we are giving students a realistic view of modern PR while inspiring them to steward meaningful stories for national progress.”

The PRSP Student Caravans will roll out to partner universities nationwide over the course of the three-year agreement, featuring specialized sessions on digital strategy, AI-driven communications, brand storytelling, and crisis management.
