SEEK champions job search relevancy in Asia-wide digital campaign

Tackling the pervasive issue of job mismatch by bringing “relevancy” to the forefront of the job search experience, SEEK, the parent company of Jobstreet and Jobsdb launched its newest campaign, Find Better Matches.

Job mismatch has long been a concern among Filipino jobseekers. While the national unemployment rate eased slightly to 5% in March 2026, according to the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA), the persistent issue of underemployment remains critical at 12.3%. This translates to approximately 6.03 million Filipinos who, while employed, are actively seeking additional work or longer hours to better align with their financial needs and professional skills.

Tackling the pervasive issue of job mismatch by bringing “relevancy” to the forefront of the job search experience, SEEK, the parent company of Jobstreet and Jobsdb launched its newest campaign, Find Better Matches.

Rolled out across six Asian markets including the Philippines, Singapore, Malaysia, Hong Kong, Thailand and Indonesia, the digital campaign is grounded in a critical candidate insight: jobseekers do not want more options; they want options that actually fit their unique skills and aspirations. This was brought to life through a creative video series featuring unique characters, including a mermaid and the Monkey King, who each discover their perfect job match that fits their purpose and preferred work conditions.

The campaign comes at a crucial time, as Jobstreet by SEEK’s latest Happiness Index Report revealed that 55% of Filipino workers frequently consider changing careers. This highlights how finding the “right fit” has become increasingly important in bridging the gap between professional and life fulfillment.

Furthermore, the campaign underscores SEEK’s continued commitment to providing best-matching opportunities through the AI-powered platform. Rather than sifting through thousands of listings, this intelligent feature acts as a high-precision filter that processes millions of data points, including a candidate’s specific skills, experience, and even past search behavior, to recommend roles that offer the right fit for each candidate.

“Relevancy is increasingly what matters most. With this campaign, we’re making it clear that Jobstreet and Jobsdb are the best places to find opportunities that genuinely fit. By combining that with SEEK’s AI-powered matching, we’re showing that no matter how unique you are, you can find your perfect job match on Jobstreet and Jobsdb,” said Maryanne Tsiatsias, Chief Marketing Officer APAC, SEEK.

Jobstreet by SEEK also encourages candidates to keep their profiles updated on the Jobstreet app, allowing the AI to surface personalized job matches and highlight roles with a “Strong Applicant” badge. Employers, on the other hand, can utilize the AI-powered Talent Search tool, which instantly ranks candidates with a suitability score, ensuring a faster and more precise match.

By prioritizing relevancy over volume, the platform ensures that Filipinos can find opportunities where their potential is fully utilized, connecting them to roles that truly match their skills and aspirations.
