Honda Philippines, Inc. and Honda Parts Manufacturing Corporation complete merger

The merger brings together vehicle assembly and parts manufacturing under one entity, supporting Honda’s long-term strategy in the Philippines. By combining these operations, Honda aims to improve operational efficiency, strengthen manufacturing flexibility, and better respond to growing demand for motorcycles and power products.

On February 11, 2026, the Securities and Exchange Commission (“SEC”) approved the merger of Honda Philippines, Inc. (HPI), motorcycle manufacturer, and Honda Parts Manufacturing Corporation (HPMC), with HPI as the surviving entity. Following the SEC’s approval, the two companies will operate as a single, unified organization, with all operations consolidated under HPI, effective 1 April 2026.
“This merger is an important step in building a stronger Honda organization in the Philippines. By unifying our manufacturing and parts operations, we are strengthening our ability to operate more efficiently while continuing to contribute to Philippine society,” said Takeshi Kobayashi, President of HPI.
This effort also reinforces Honda’s long-standing presence in the country and its collaboration with local suppliers, partners, and institutions. With a more streamlined organizational structure, Honda is positioned to maintain the quality, reliability, and consistency expected by its customers and stakeholders.
The completion of the HPI–HPMC merger highlights Honda’s commitment to long-term growth and responsible and sustainable operations in the Philippine market.
