Mober partners with Laguna to widen healthcare access in the province with electric mobile pharmacies

The partnership supports the province’s agenda on improving healthcare in the province, especially for Persons with Disabilities (PWDs) and senior citizens.

Mober, a frontrunner in green logistics services in the Philippines, has partnered with the Provincial Government of Laguna, led by Governor Sol Aragones, to make healthcare more accessible to Lagunenses with the use of an initial two electric three-wheeler tricycles.

The partnership supports the province’s agenda on improving healthcare in the province, especially for Persons with Disabilities (PWDs) and senior citizens. During her inauguration ceremony, Gov. Aragones announced key initiatives, including the implementation of free health cards, the development of district hospitals, and the expansion of “Akay ni Sol” pharmacies, which include the launch of mobile butikas to reach more underserved communities.

To support the province’s efforts to improve healthcare delivery, Mober’s e-tricycles will serve as mobile pharmacies, efficiently delivering essential medical supplies directly to Lagunenses, with a strong focus on residents in remote and hard-to-reach areas. These electric units aim to complement the existing healthcare infrastructure, extending the reach of vital health services across the province.

“Healthcare is one of our top agendas for Lagunenses, and we are grateful to partners like Mober for enabling our initiatives in making healthcare more accessible to many communities in Laguna,” said Gov. Aragones.

Mober Founder and CEO Dennis Ng highlights public-private partnerships as a key driver in accelerating public services nationwide.

“At Mober, we are proud to support initiatives that bring essential services closer to communities. This small step in partnership with the Provincial Government of Laguna reflects our adaptability as a logistics partner, whether for businesses or the government, in exploring practical ways to use our electric fleet to address specific needs,” Ng said.
