Shopee launches Sibol Accelerator for MSMEs

Building on the momentum of the 2025 Shopee Tatak Pinoy MSME Roadshow, SAP marks the next phase of Shopee’s continued investment in Filipino entrepreneurs. The program provides selected sellers with personalized mentorship, access to Shopee experts, and targeted support to unlock their next stage of growth.

Shopee, the leading e-commerce platform in Southeast Asia, Taiwan, and Brazil, today announced the launch of a new accelerator program designed to help high-potential Filipino MSMEs scale more effectively online. The Shopee Tatak Pinoy: Sibol Accelerator Program (SAP) is a structured, six-month growth initiative under the broader Shopee Tatak Pinoy umbrella. It aims to equip promising Filipino sellers with tailored guidance to strengthen their business foundations and achieve long-term growth.

“At Shopee, we’ve always believed that when MSMEs succeed, communities thrive,” said Vincent Lee, Head of Shopee Philippines. “The launch of the Shopee Tatak Pinoy Sibol Accelerator is part of our commitment to helping promising Filipino sellers take the next step—whether that’s growing faster, scaling smarter, or building a lasting presence online. As we mark Shopee’s 10 years in the Philippines, this is just one of the ways we’re investing in long-term, inclusive growth.”

Holistic Growth Support for Sellers Ready to Scale

As part of SAP, participating sellers will receive dedicated coaching and mentorship from Shopee’s Business Partners, and gain access to Shopee’s global experts who will guide sellers through key areas of digital business growth.

The six-month journey begins in Q4 2025 with an intensive bootcamp to help sellers strengthen core capabilities, followed by customized support and milestone-based incentives that reward commitment and progress. Learning areas include:
● Shop and content optimization – improving product presentation, branding, and discoverability
● Marketing and campaign planning – building strategies that drive visibility and sales
● Affiliate and community-driven marketing – expanding reach through creator and community partnerships
● Fulfillment and customer experience – enhancing reliability, responsiveness, and service quality
● Performance tracking and business planning – using data to make informed, growth-focused decisions

In addition, SAP participants will receive a customized growth plan tailored to their unique business goals, accompanied by structured guidance throughout the program.

“Shopee’s Tatak Pinoy program has always been about championing local—local sellers, local products, and Pinoy pride,” Lee said. “This year, we’re taking that commitment further by offering hands-on support for MSMEs at every stage, from first-time sellers to established businesses ready to scale.”

Welcoming High-Potential Filipino MSMEs Ready to Take the Next Step

SAP is designed for Filipino MSMEs ready to move from steady performance to strategic growth. The pilot cohort will be by invitation only and will welcome 20 local, high-potential sellers who demonstrate the readiness, commitment, and ambition to scale.
