The TechLife Pad Plus 12 isn’t just another Android tablet—it’s a multitasking gadget by day and a decent gaming gear by night.
What we like about it
The specs
The tablet is powered by a MediaTek Helio G91 chipset, has 16GB of RAM, 256GB of storage, an 8000mAh battery, and 4G LTE support.
Based on these specs alone, one can see that this tablet proves you don’t have to choose between work and entertainment—it’s built for both.
With 16GB of RAM, multitasking is smooth and efficient, allowing you to switch between spreadsheets, email, research, and video calls with ease. Add 256GB of internal storage—expandable up to 1TB—and you’ve got ample space for documents, apps, and media libraries.
Our basic tests included simultaneously opening and using some of the most used applications—YouTube, email, Android games, etc—and the Helio G91 chip, while not flagship-level, was up to the task.
There were no noticeable lags, glitches, or slowdowns. We would expect that it can deliver enough power for running office suites, cloud-based tools, and video conferencing apps without stutter. And thanks to 4G LTE support, you can work from virtually anywhere—no Wi-Fi required.
A gaming rig
The TechLife Pad Plus 12 can also double as a capable gaming device. While we only tested it with a few simple Android games, the G91’s integrated Mali-G52 GPU should be able to handle popular mobile titles like Call of Duty: Mobile, Genshin Impact (on medium settings), and Mobile Legends with ease.
The large 12-inch display, paired with quad stereo speakers, provides an immersive experience for both gaming and streaming.
All-day power
TechLife doesn’t skimp on power. The 8000mAh battery delivers up to 12–14 hours of active use, and LTE keeps you connected wherever you are. While we didn’t run a full-day binge-watching test, the tablet appears more than capable of handling one.
This combination makes it ideal for people on the go, allowing you to switch seamlessly between work tasks and gaming sessions.
Our verdict
The TechLife Pad Plus 12 covers most of a typical user’s needs. The P9,999 price point also seems to hit the sweet spot for most users.
It’s light enough for your bag, powerful enough for your projects, and entertaining enough to keep you engaged. The 12-inch screen shines when it comes to productivity, though you may instinctively want to pair it with a protective cover after you unbox the tablet.
Whether you’re writing reports, editing photos, or grinding through your favorite mobile game, this tablet shows that productivity and play don’t have to live in separate devices.
We think it will be ideal for remote workers and students in need of a reliable all-in-one device. For entertainment, it will be more than enough if you just want to binge on your favorite streaming platform. Casual to moderate gamers seeking good performance without the bulk of a gaming phone or console may also find it a good option.
