Addressing a gathering of micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) at the DTI Bagong Pilipinas National Food Fair 2025, foodpanda Philippines highlighted its commitment to supporting the MSME sector through its innovative programs, “Negosyo Like a Panda” and foodpanda Capital.
Highlighting that 99% of registered businesses in the Philippines are MSMEs, contributing significantly to employment and the economy, foodpanda acknowledged the challenges these businesses face, particularly in accessing traditional financing and vital growth tools.

Among these programs is the “Negosyo Like a Panda” program, which aims to help merchant partners grow their businesses beyond logistics and visibility, by offering easier access to business loans.
Complementing this, foodpanda Capital offers a performance-based financing program with simplified requirements, no collateral, and transparent terms, providing much-needed financial support for MSMEs. “Ultimately, we envision these programs to help in achieving a sustained growth and resilience of the MSME sector. By providing accessible financing and comprehensive support, foodpanda hopes to empower small businesses to scale their operations, create more jobs, and contribute even more significantly to the overall prosperity of the Philippine economy,” Malalad concluded.
