Manuel V Pangilinan welcomes newly crowned queens of ‘Mobile Legends: Bang Bang’ arena

The Smart-backed all-Cebuana all-female Mobile Legends Bang Bang champion team Smart Omega Empress comprising of Team Captain Mery Christine “Meraaay” Vivero, Rica Fatima “Amoreee” Amores, Sheen “Shinoa” Perez, Kaye Maerylle “Keishi” Alpuerto, Gwyneth “Not Ayanami” Diagon and Coach Salman “King Salman” Macarambon dominated the arena in a 3-0 series win against three-time winner Team Vitality.

PLDT Inc. and Smart Communications, Inc. Chairman and CEO Manuel V Pangilinan welcomes the newly crowned queens of the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB) arena, Smart Omega Empress to the PLDT headquarters following their impressive win at the MLBB Women’s Invitational 2024 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

“We are proud of our women esports athletes who are thriving in this highly competitive scene. We hope to see more of them in the global stage carrying not only our brand, but more importantly, our flag,” said Pangilinan.
