The country’s information technology and business process management (IT-BPM) sector has entered a phase of rapid growth and expansion fueled by digital transformation, an increasingly skilled workforce and diversification of services. Last year alone, the industry posted a 10.3 percent growth in revenues, reaching $32.5 billion, and an 8.4% increase in the number of full-time employees to 1.57 million— indicators that it is well on its way towards making the Philippines the world’s investment destination for global services.
