GoTyme Bank and Uncle John’s collaborate

The partnership expands the bank’s deposit and withdrawal footprint just as it hits the 1 millionth customer mark within less than a year.  

GoTyme Bank makes good on its promise of bringing easy, preferred banking to its customers with a partnership with convenience store chain Uncle John’s. The partnership expands the bank’s deposit and withdrawal footprint just as it hits the 1 millionth customer mark within less than a year.  

Once again going the extra mile, the bank offers its users a leveled-up banking experience that was once limited to the top 5% of the country. Now, it’s not only possible to manage finances via the GoTyme Bank app, account holders who require physical transactions can deposit and withdraw cash at any of Uncle John’s 340 branches nationwide. They can just check the nearest Uncle John’s branch in their GoTyme Bank app. The transactions are efficient, free, and done within two minutes. 

In addition, GoTyme Bank customers can now pay for purchases at Uncle John’s and other partner merchants with the app’s new “Pay with QR” feature. As a bonus, Uncle John’s customers who pay with QR are entitled to a raffle entry for “Fry Free for a Year” with every P200 purchase. Winners get a year’s supply of Uncle John’s fried chicken. Customers can earn unlimited raffle entries but can only win once. Promo period is until October 31, 2023.  

GoTyme Bank also recently rolled out a new feature that allows users to pay their bills via the GoTyme Bank app, via a partnership with Bayad Center. This allows customers to pay their bills with just a few taps. Participating billers include Meralco, Maynilad Water, Manila Water, Home Credit, Pag-Ibig, Smart, Sky Affiliates, Converge, Visayan Electric, Autosweep RFID, Davao Light, Cignal, Pag-Ibig OFW, and Easytrip RFID.
