The certification further solidifies ePLDT’s commitment to providing a secure digital transformation for its customers by ensuring that their sensitive and critical data are protected and maintained with utmost confidentiality and integrity.

ePLDT, the ICT subsidiary of the PLDT Group, has obtained the internationally recognized ISO 27001:2013 for Information Security Management System (ISMS) standards for cybersecurity operations. This marks ePLDT’s second ISO 27001:2013 certification following its accolade for its data center and cloud services.

The certification further solidifies ePLDT’s commitment to providing a secure digital transformation for its customers by ensuring that their sensitive and critical data are protected and maintained with utmost confidentiality and integrity.

“At ePLDT, we understand that cyber security is at the center of every successful digital transformation. Achieving the ISO 27001:2013 certification reflects our commitment to safeguarding our customers’ valuable information and that of our own employees,” said Victor S. Genuino, ePLDT President & CEO.

ISO 27001:2013 is a globally recognized standard that guarantees the highest degree of safeguarding sensitive information and adhering to international best practices. It also ensures that organizations have a holistic approach to information security including an established risk-based framework for managing sensitive information.

ePLDT’ certification was issued by TUV Rheinland, an independent international certification body, a leading provider of third-party audit and certification, upon ePLDT’s completion of a formal two-stage audit from November 2022 to January 2023.
