Lalamove strengthens commitment to driver empowerment with more healthcare, financial, fuel benefits

Lalamove has new additions to diversify its roster of Panalomove Driver Benefits that can cater to the needs of every partner driver.

With the commitment of empowering its partner drivers, on-demand logistics company Lalamove has strengthened its Panalomove Driver Rewards program with new partnerships to provide more benefits in healthcare, financing, and gas, among others.

In a survey conducted on over 8,000 partner drivers across Manila, Pampanga, and Cebu, the data shows that the most preferred benefits are fuel discounts, followed by insurance and vehicle maintenance.

In response to this, Lalamove has new additions to diversify its roster of Panalomove Driver Benefits that can cater to the needs of every partner driver.

24/7 Healthcare services

To safeguard the health of partner drivers, Lalamove has teamed up with online medical consultation platform Doctor Anywhere to provide affordable 24/7 video consultation with its licensed medical practitioners, along with healthcare discounts at establishments, such as Ideal Vision for eye concerns and Hi-Precision clinics for diagnostics and laboratory tests.

Easy access to financial and loan assistance

Meanwhile, partner drivers looking to replace their motorcycles can now get an affordable loan through Lalamove’s partnership with Agribank, a local financial services provider. For as low as a P499 downpayment at an interest rate of 2.2%, partner drivers can avail of a secondhand motorcycle loan that is payable in up to 36 months.

Fuel discount perks

Lalamove partner drivers continue to enjoy an array of fuel discounts and rewards from the country’s top gasoline brands, including Caltex, Petron Corporation, Phoenix Petroleum, SEAOIL, Shell, Unioil, Jetti, and PRICELOCQ.

With fuel prices continuing to fluctuate, the Panalomove Driver Benefits will help alleviate fuel expenses for partner drivers.

Malaki ang pinagbago ng kabuhayan namin, lalo na sa financial. Madami na din akong naipundar [dahil] kay Lalamove. Motor, appliances, gadgets, at konting ipon pa para mapaayos na namin yung bahay (Our life changed a lot especially when it came to our finances. I was able to fund a lot of things because of Lalamove. Motor, appliances, gadgets, and we’ll save a little more to fix our house),” shared Adrian Nery, who used to work as an online grocery delivery rider before shifting to Lalamove.

Meanwhile, Wilfredo “Willy” Cruz Tabunggao Jr., who experienced financial difficulties because of the pandemic lockdowns, shared that Lalamove has helped him recover from the challenges brought by COVID-19. He has been a partner driver since 2021.

I was able to pay almost all the loans I acquired during the lockdown when I lost my job. I was able to continue paying for the house and lot I purchased through Pag-IBIG acquired assets that I thought would be foreclosed because I couldn’t pay for it when I was not yet a Lalamove driver. Now, my income from Lalamove pays for our daily expenses, monthly bills, and the needs of my children),” said Willy. He also expressed how much he enjoyed working as a partner driver as it gave him more time and flexibility to be with his family.

“Lalamove is finding ways to add more Panalomove benefits to further empower our partner drivers so they can reach their financial goals, be it by providing for their family’s daily needs, securing their future, or even expanding their own business,” remarked Dannah Majarocon, Lalamove Philippines Managing Director. Lalamove’s Panalomove Driver Benefits  is anchored on the company’s commitment in promoting Filipino entrepreneurship and empowering micro entrepreneurs, such as its partner drivers, making it easier for them to become their own boss and earn more, while also enjoying the flexibility to work at their own pace.
