For a limited time, AF Payments Inc. is giving away free personal accident insurance coverage to cardholders who will register their beep card in the beep app for the first time. This is indeed a valuable perk for students who attend face-to-face classes, workers who went back to onsite operations, and even daily wage earners who commute every day.

To qualify for the promo, users must register their beep™ card in the beep™ app for the first time during the promo period until December 5 only. To do this, download the beep app from the App Store, Google Play, or Huawei App Gallery, create an account, and register a beep card. Only one card per account is eligible for the free insurance. Moreover, new beep™ cards registered in an existing beep app account do not qualify.
Qualified customers are entitled to P10,000 in life insurance coverage for death due to accident, P10,000 benefit for total permanent disablement from an accident, up to P10,000 benefit for dismemberment and/or disablement from an accident, and P2,000 burial expense benefit following an accidental death. Terms and conditions apply.
Coverage is valid for 1 month from the date of registration. Customers will receive their proof of cover, including details on how to claim benefits, in their registered email address.
beep is a stored value contactless card that can be used to pay fares in the three elevated railways (LRT1, LRT2, and MRT3) and select buses and PUVs nationwide, as well as in partner retail merchants. Cardholders can download the beep app to enjoy real-time load balance checking, card transaction monitoring, QR ticket purchasing, loading/fetching load (for NFC-enabled Android phones), and earning rewards points.
