EdVenture partners with teachers for personalized K-10 learning sessions

EdVenture was created by Globe’s wholly-owned corporate venture builder 917Ventures in May last year to provide 21st-century quality education to Filipino learners while improving the quality of life of teachers. It integrates technology into the teaching-learning process to achieve this vision.

“If you do what you love, you’ll never work a day in your life.” This famous quote from American singer, songwriter, and actor Marc Anthony has been the guiding principle for Eunice Faith Manuel.

Eunice is among those who found their vocation teaching kids in EdVenture, an online learning platform that provides affordable and high-quality virtual personalized tutorials for Kinder-Grade 10 students.

“I can proudly say that this is a job where I’ve never worked, even for a day. It’s because I love what I do, and for that, the parents trusted me to help their children improve their skills. Our lessons provide meaningful learning experiences to the learners based on their capabilities, goals, and learning styles which they can relate to and apply in their daily lives,” she said.

Similar to Eunice, Davao-based college teacher Diofer Capareda said joining EdVenture was one of the best career decisions he has made.

“I believe that EdVenture is one of the best online learning platforms that puts the needs of the students first but also considers the needs of its teachers,” he shared.

For Marvinne Bayani, EdVenture was his lifeline during the global health crisis.

“They helped me financially since I was able to get regular students from my second month here,” he said.

EdVenture was created by Globe’s wholly-owned corporate venture builder 917Ventures in May last year to provide 21st-century quality education to Filipino learners while improving the quality of life of teachers. It integrates technology into the teaching-learning process to achieve this vision.

The institution equips parents with what they need to catalyze educational transformation, starting with their children. It also provides additional income to hundreds of Filipino teachers wherever they may be in the country.

“We treat onboarded tutors as partners with the same goal of bettering each child’s educational capabilities by imparting knowledge and making sure students get quality learning. At the same time, we provide tutors with extra income and extensive experience to further hone their teaching skills,” said Natasha Bautista, 917Ventures’ Head of Growth and Programs.
