Smart Communications, Inc. (Smart) has teamed up with Maya to give instant cashback rewards to all Smart Prepaid, Smart Bro, and TNT subscribers who will purchase load via the Maya app.
Maya was originally known as PayMaya, a leading e-wallet app in the Philippines. It recently rebranded to Maya as it evolved beyond payments with the launch of its own banking and crypto services. This makes Maya the Philippines’ first and only all-in-one money app as it brings together banking, crypto, and wallet features into a seamless customer experience.
Smart and Maya will provide 100% cashback of up to P200 to subscribers who purchase load, for the first time, through the Maya app.
To enjoy the cashback rewards, subscribers simply have to download the Maya app from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store, create an account for free, and buy load for the first time.
To buy load on Maya, users simply just need to tap the Load icon on the Maya home screen, choose Smart or TNT, and pick their preferred amount or data promo.
Aside from getting instant cashback, new Maya users can also get P20 worth of credits in their Maya wallet upon registration, and an additional P80 worth of credits when they upgrade their Maya account.
Users can immediately spend their cashback rewards and bonus credits to buy load or data promos. Users can also make the most out of it on their other cashless purchases when they scan to pay with Maya QR in Maya-powered stores nationwide, and in online stores where paying with Maya is supported. Moreover, subscribers can use it to purchase in-app items on the Maya app such as game pins, or to pay bills for various vendors, such as telecoms, utilities, government agencies and offices, and more.
For a smarter way to pay, customers may also use GigaPay with Maya, within Smart’s GigaLife App. GigaPay is a GigaLife app in-app payment feature wherein subscribers may link their Maya account to make it simpler and easier for users to buy load, and subscribe to data promos, among others, straight from their phone. Through GigaPay, all subscribers of Smart Prepaid, Smart Postpaid, Smart Bro, Prepaid Home WiFi, and TNT just need to link their Maya account to the GigaLife App to make it their payment source for all in-app transactions.
With the link, Smart subscribers can make purchases without getting off the GigaLife App and just use its GigaPay feature for a much smarter and more seamless way to pay.
