LG Philippines unveiled the LG Styler, a steam clothing care system which leverages a technology that can eliminate up to 99.9% of viruses, bacteria, and allergens as well as reduces odors and wrinkles in your clothes.
“The LG Styler provides a fast and easy way of disinfecting your clothes, which is crucial in the time of COVID. It helps keep you and your family safe. It is also a perfect addition to any household, whether you’re living alone or with a family,” shares Seungjae Kim, LG Philippines managing director.
With LG Styler, all you have to do is put your clothes inside and it’s good as new in minutes, no shrinkage and damage. This feature is attributed to the appliance’s Heat-Pump technology which gently dries clothes that require special care without worrying about shrinkage and damage. Unpleasant smells will be eliminated while taking care of suits, dresses, sweaters and more with the touch of a button. This technology reduces energy consumption by recycling heat from the hot, moist air inside Styler.
Another important feature of LG Styler is it can sanitize fabrics, removing 99.9% of germs and bacteria found in clothes and even stuffed toys. This was brought about by the LG TrueSteam technology which was approved by the Asthma and Allergy Foundation of America (AAFA) for being asthma and allergy-friendly. The TrueSteam technology consists of 100% water, with no chemical additives. Clothes placed on the rotating hangers shake out wrinkles while the Gentle Dry Cycle removes moisture quickly, and creates crease-line without the use of an iron, courtesy of the Pants Crease Care feature.
In addition, the LG Styler offers smart solutions as the appliance can be controlled using smartphone. The ThinQ app lets you operate or monitor precious garments from anywhere, anytime. A user can also use Cycle Download to add newly developed care cycles.
Dra. Vicki Belo, founder and medical director at Belo Medical Group, who was interviewed during the event, was elated about the features of LG Styler. “The first thing I loved about it is the ease of use. I’m not that techie so this one I can easily operate after unboxing. I also like the fact that you can practically use it every day. We wear PPEs as doctors in Belo clinics so as soon as I remove it, pasok agad (I put it at once) in the Styler. It feels as if I have a whole new wardrobe in my walk-in closet because I have a lot of delicate items that I wouldn’t wear as often, like the couture dresses, so now I can freshen them all up.”
