EPOS introduced in Phl

Apart from being one of EPOS fast growing markets in the APAC region, the audio solutions maker chose to make its debut in the Philippines due to its robust business process outsourcing (BPO) industry that can contribute to the digital economy and enhance post-pandemic recovery.

EPOS, a premium audio brand and part of the Demant Group, was officially introduced in the Philippines to offer audio collaboration products new-age professionals can use wherever and whenever they want in the era of remote and hybrid work.

Alex Lim, sales director, Southeast Asia and Taiwan at EPOS, said they will continue its commitment to develop, innovate and provide premium audio solutions for new-age professionals in the Philippines especially now that the benefits of remote working are widely known. In fact, a survey of 161 Filipino business leaders showed that 73% see their organizations implementing a work-from-home policy even after Covid-19 pandemic eases.

“With many Filipinos expressing their desire to work remotely, enterprises must see to it that they’ll be able to provide the right technology solutions for their employees to empower professionalism and navigate the hybrid model effectively,” Lim shares.

Apart from being one of EPOS fast growing markets in the APAC region, the audio solutions maker chose to make its debut in the Philippines due to its robust business process outsourcing (BPO) industry that can contribute to the digital economy and enhance post-pandemic recovery. Being a crucial engine in the Philippine economy, there is a need for BPOs to transform daily operations in order to remain competitive and making sure employees can deliver seamless customer experience.

However, an increase in the number of daily micro-frustrations being experienced in the industry affects businesses and customer satisfaction. An EPOS study found out that 95% of today’s workforce admit their concentration and efficiency at work has suffered due to audio setbacks, resulting in an emotional impact with 35% reporting feeling of frustration, irritation, and annoyance due to bad audio. Another survey found out that 20% say bad audio caused dissatisfaction to clients and 15% had even lost a client due to bad audio experiences.
