Bitglass supports United Nations Global Compact Initiative

Bitglass, a cloud security company, announced its commitment to support the United Nations Global Compact Initiative by implementing the Ten Principles of the UN Global Compact in the areas of human rights, labor, environment and anti-corruption into its business practices.

As part of the world’s largest corporate citizenship initiative that encourages businesses to adopt sustainable and socially responsible policies to create a better world, Bitglass is undertaking the following actions that align with the UN Global Compact’s core principles:

  • Proactive engagement of customers, vendors, board and employees on our code of business conduct and corporate social responsibility policies with emphasis on anti-fraud and corruption. 
  • Continued alignment with our hosting partner, AWS, on its sustainability initiatives which includes a reduced carbon footprint assessment through its renewable energy programs.  
  • Expansion of diversity programs to ensure inclusive hiring practices and employee development.
