Mobile products assembler TCL Philippines announced its partnership with VST ECS Philippines, Inc., one of the country’s leading ICT distribution companies, to introduce a vast range of affordable TCL smartphones, tablets, and audio devices in the local market. Through this collaboration, the VST ECS was appointed as the authorized and exclusive distributor of TCL mobile products in the Philippines.

Through the alliance, next generation budget-friendly TCL mobile products are debuting in the market, including the TCL 10 5G, and TCL 20 SE smartphones, and TCL NXTPAPER and TCL TAB 10s tablets.
TCL 10 5G
A 5G-enabled smartphone, the TCL 10 5G is the company’s first step in the world of 5G connectivity. The device is powered by Snapdragon 765G 5G Modern-RF System and 5th Generation Qualcomm AI Engine to support increased data bandwidth for faster uploads, downloads, and upgraded Wi-Fi connection stability with Qualcomm FastConnect 6200 mobile connectivity subsystem. This Android device leverages the company’s self-curated visual technology called NXTVISION, and camera visual technology. It comes with a 6.53-inch FHD+ Dotch display which provides a 91% screen-to-body ratio.
The TCL 10 5G is equipped with a quad-camera setup that includes a 64MP high-resolution main camera, a 118-degree ultra-wide angle camera, a macro camera that lets users take super close-up shots at only 2cm away, and a depth camera for professional quality photos with Bokeh. The device’s front-facing 16MP camera with its 4-in-1 pixel technology automatically combines four pixels into one to produce brighter selfie photos and improve low-light capabilities.
The phone is fueled by a battery which boasts a full day of phone use and Quick Qualcomm Charge 3.0 fast charging technology. It is also packed with On-the-Go Reverse Charging which turn the phone into a portable power bank to charge smaller devices or help a friend in need if their device’s battery is low.
TCL 20 SE
The TCL 20 SE sports the latest TCL-made display and NXTVISION, the next generation display optimization and camera technology which provides users with improvements to the video and image display experience, including improved SDR to HDR conversion, enhanced color calibration, and more eye safety measures.
The device also features a superior video entertainment system and stunning video performance delivered by a 6.82-inch V notch display with a 90% screen-to-body ratio for a maximized viewing experience. Apart from this feature, it is also equipped with a Smart Floating Window that allows users to browse the web or reply to messages while watching videos. This is triggered by swiping to the right or left corner and can be adjusted in size or move about anywhere on the screen. It also provides video playback through SDR-to-HDR technology
The TCL 20 SE is powered by a Qualcomm octa-core chipset and a 5,000mAh battery. It also comes with an OTG Reverse Charging capability, making it possible to top up the battery of smaller gadgets.
The phone’s quad rear camera is packed with AI-powered color portrait and sky enhancement features designed to detect the intended subjects and adjust the background for more epic shots. The new AI Object Eraser, on the other hand, can clear out people or objects in the background.
The TCL 10 5G and TCL 20 SE are exclusively distributed by VST ECS Phils., Inc. and are available in April 2021 through its accredited retailers nationwide.
Apart from smartphones, TCL Philippines also launched two tablets – the TCL NXTPAPER and TCL Tab 10s designed to keep up with the productivity and entertainment needs of today’s remote professionals and students.
The TCL NXTPAPER is the first commercially available tablet that leverages the company’s innovative colored e-ink display technology while the TCL Tab 10s offers a large screen and stylus.
The TCL NXTPAPER sports a display that provides 25% higher contrast than most e-ink tablets and is also more than 65% more power-efficient than standard LCD screen, for a better battery life and smoother video playback, ensuring optimized usage for learning, work, and leisure activities.
The device is powered by an octa-core processor and energized by a 5500mAh battery for a full day of use. It is also equipped with a 5-megapixel front-facing camera and an 8-megapixel rear-facing camera for remote classroom learning, video teleconferences, presentations, and more.
The TCL NXTPAPER comes with a Kids Learning option which provides a child-friendly user interface and parental controls. It also works with Google Assistant, and offers both Wi-Fi and 4G connectivity. It also has received an eye certification from TUV Rheinland to ensure eyes are protected from harmful light.
Starting April 2021, the TCL NXTPAPER will be available in Europe, Middle East, Africa, Latin America and the Asia-Pacific.
TCL TAB 10s
For a better viewing experience, the TCL TAB 10s sports a 10.1-inch screen, an octa-core processor that gives students the speed they need to process almost any online task, and a large capacity 8000mAh battery that provides up to eight hours of video playback and up to two weeks of standby time.
The device can also provide 4G LTE mobile communication, allowing users to access content from virtually anywhere, as well as participate in online classroom lessons or video calls without worry. It also has dual microphones and speaker system, along with its front camera ensuring effective group communication. Besides, there is also a feature where parents can manage their children’s time online through an independent parental control interface and remote control that gives them the option to manage both the student’s study and rest time, and the ability to control any third-party apps being used on the device.
The TCL TAB 10s also comes with POGO pin connectors to support additional third-party accessories, as well as the stylish TCL T-pen stylus. For eye safety, the device’s display features intelligent eye protection with integrated brightness and tonality control in daylight and low-light conditions.
Beginning March 2021, the TCL TAB 10s is available in the EU, North America, the Middle East, Africa, China, Asia-Pacific, and Latin America.
