Grab in the Philippines will suspend its ride-sharing service starting this Friday, March 13, to help combat the spread of the coronavirus disease (COVID-19).

In an advisory, Grab stated that its GrabShare services will be temporarily unavailable in Metro Manila and Cebu starting 12:00 noon on Friday, to help in efforts at “social distancing” as prescribed by Philippine health officials.

Other Grab transport services will remain to be available to serve our commuting public.

“We would like to remind everyone to plan their trips prudently and take personal hygiene seriously,” the company pointed out.
