J&T Express, Shopee tie up to strengthen services for rising e-commerce in Phl

J&T Express announced its partnership with e-commerce platform giant, Shopee, to strengthen its operations and deliver quality services for the rising number of online retailers in the Philippines.

According to Dean Ding, Chief Executive Officer of J&T Express Philippines, the e-commerce industry in the country is expected to continue gaining ground, especially with the growing number of Filipinos who do their shopping online.

Citing a recent The Internet World Stats report, Ding noted that as of January 2018, around 67 million Filipinos do their shopping online, showing a 12% increase year-on-year. This prospect encourages entrepreneurs to take their businesses online and, contribute to the growing number of local e-commerce businesses.
