Robert Walters Philippines names new country manager

Robert Walters Philippines recently named Monty Sujanani as its new country manager.

Robert Walters is a global, specialist professional recruitment consultancy, identifying and securing the placement of high quality professionals for a range of mid- to C-level specialist roles, including those in Accounting & Finance, Banking & Financial Services, Human Resources, Information Technology, and Sales & Marketing.

With an extensive background in ICT recruitment consultancy, Sujanani began his career in Robert Walters in Beijing in 2013; then moved to Singapore in 2015 where he led part of the technology team.

Prior to joining Robert Walters, Sujanani held various business development and operational management positions in key companies in China; and ran his own business in design and manufacturing. He is a graduate of the Australian National University with a Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology.

Beyond recruitment

Now at the helm of Robert Walters Philippines, Sujanani will oversee the business and operations of the company, focusing on growing the brand and further educating the market on what the company can bring its clients and potential candidates.

“Our business goes beyond recruitment – what sets Robert Walters apart is the quality service and high levels of engagement that we deliver to all of our clients and candidates,” said Sujanani.

Robert Walters’ ‘Balik Bayan’ campaign is also unique to the company. The campaign connects overseas Filipino professionals to exciting career opportunities within the country, helping them to return home to the Philippines to be with their families while advancing their careers.

Sujanani also said that the Philippines continues to be an emerging market for Robert Walters, especially with the increase in volume of companies wanting to set up business here.

In particular, the demand for skilled professionals has risen rapidly as companies across the banking and commerce sectors accelerate their digital transformation, notwithstanding the continuous automation of shared services in BPOs.

“Our value lies in not just finding you the best people, but more importantly, the right people for the job – which automation and AI is yet able to provide.”

Sujanani is looking forward to growing with Robert Walters Philippines and loves what he has seen of the country so far.

“It has been a fascinating and amazing start. I am confident in growing the Robert Walters brand, because I have a great, talented and committed team who can back me up in taking the business to the next level.”
