Cisco appoints Karrie Ilagan as Phl country manager

Ilagan will be responsible for supporting customers in the domestic market, with a particular focus on enabling digital transformation and propelling cybersecurity capabilities, via an ecosystem of Cisco’s channel partners.

Cisco announced the appointment of Karrie Ilagan as the new Country Manager for Philippines.

Ilagan will be responsible for supporting customers in the domestic market, with a particular focus on enabling digital transformation and propelling cybersecurity capabilities, via an ecosystem of Cisco’s channel partners. She will report to Naveen Menon, president of Southeast Asia at Cisco.

A seasoned executive with more than 23 years’ experience, prior to Cisco, Ilagan held various sales and channel leadership roles at global technology organizations.

Commenting on her appointment, Ilagan said: “Digital Transformation is picking up pace in the Philippines and creating opportunities across all sectors of the economy. Cisco has a rich history of innovation that is focused on enabling customers to transform their businesses by helping them address their challenges and unlock new growth initiatives. Cisco’s technology has empowered the transformation of businesses across key industry sectors like manufacturing, financial services and education. I am excited to be joining the company at a time when digital disruption is having a big impact not just on businesses, but also the overall society”.

Ilagan has undertaken executive leadership programs at Boston University School of Management and Harvard Business School, with the latter focused on Leading Change & Organizational Renewal. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree with a major in economics from Assumption College.
