Samsung Electronics Philippines recently wrapped up its Moments Worth A Million online photography contest by officially announcing Kevin Miguel A. Saño as the grand winner of the competition. The eight-week long challenge, which took place in the latter half of 2017, aimed to encourage Filipinos to capture some of their best moments with the help of the Samsung Galaxy J7+.

Saño, a 23-year-old freelance photographer from Malabon City, bagged the grand prize after submitting his entry during the 5th week of the competition, highlighting the theme Best Meal Ever.

“We wanted to give the contestants artistic freedom in capturing their best moments throughout the competition, and they definitely did not disappoint. We believe moments like these are also best captured with the Samsung Galaxy J7+, with its camera features that allows each user to make the most out of each photo,” said Nico Gonzales, marketing manager for core smartphones, Samsung Electronics Philippines Corporation. “Each photo impressed us in their own way, and that’s exactly how we visualized the Galaxy J7+’s users photos to look like.”
Defining the winning photo as one of Saño’s best moments, the shot was captioned as “Life of a Fisherman.” The entry took home the grand prize, based on its high scores for originality, creativity, and engagement.
