Star Telecom Alliance Resources Inc. (STAR Inc.), the distributor of TP-LINK network products in the Philippines, through its sister company First Telecom, the retail distribution arm of the TCI Group of Companies, teamed up with PLDT Home to provide Filipinos with the first mesh Wi-Fi system through their Whole Home Wifi plan offer.

PLDT Home’s Whole Home Wifi plan includes 50mbps of Fibr Broadband connection and three TP-Link Deco M5 devices. They work together to eliminate dead spots in all corners of every room giving subscribers strong and full internet coverage at home.

Compared to traditional extenders that broadens Wi-Fi signal and expands Wi-Fi range,TP-Link’s Deco M5 has smart adaptive routing technology enables users to experience strong connectivity by identifying the optimal path a data packet must follow to connect to network.

The Deco M5 is a complete Wi-Fi system which uses three or more bands that act like routers that users can place at different places at home to deliver seamless internet connection in up to 1,500 square feet.

Earlier this year, STAR Inc. rolled-out StarCart ‘Kiosk-on-Wheels’, a demo and point-of-sale booth, to make affordable devices from Starmobile, JUMPU, Starcube and TP-Link more accessible to the public.
