Motorola Philippines introduced two additions to its moto g smartphone family – the moto g5s Plus and moto g5s – which are equipped with innovations in camera, battery and design.
The moto G5s Plus features dual 13-megapixel (MP) rear cameras with f/2.0 aperture that come with special photo enhancement software which lets users enhance photos by adding a blurred background effect or replacing background mode to give photos a new look.
The device also has an 8MP wide-angle front camera that has an f/2.0 aperture LED flash. The device has an all-metal unibody design with a 5.5-inch full high-definition (HD) touchscreen display made of Corning Gorilla Glass3.
Powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 2.0GHz Octa-Core processor, the moto5s Plus is packed with 4GB of RAM, 64GB of internal storage that can be expanded up to 128GB via microSD card, and supports 4G LTE. The moto5s Plus has a 3,000mAh all-day battery. Users can fuel up their battery with the TurboPower charger that provides up to six hours of battery life in just 15 minutes. The device runs Android 7.1 Nougat. With an all-metal design, the moto g5s phone’s form factor is made of aluminum.
The device also features a high-resolution 16MP camera with phase detection autofocus (PDAF) and a 5MP wide-angle front camera with an LED flash for easily taking group selfies. The moto g5s is powered by a 3,000mAh all-day battery and with its TurboPower charging, the battery life can last throughout the day. It also comes with a 5.2-inch Corning Gorilla Glass FHD display having a 1080-pixel resolution. Apart from these, it is also backed by a 1.4GHz Octa-Core Qualcomm Snapdragon processor, a fingerprint feature, and features the latest Moto experiences such as Night Display and Quick Reply.
Motorola opened 10 retail stores this year in malls, including SM North EDSA, SM Megamall, SM Mall of Asia, SM Batangas, Glorietta, SM Sta. Rosa, SM Dasmarinas, SM Calamba, SM Cebu and Gaisano Davao. These stores sell the latest moto models.
Priced at P14,999, the moto g5s Plus is now available, while moto g5s, to be retailed at P10,999, will be available starting October 20. These models can be bought at all Motorola retail outlets nationwide and in Lazada.
