Ricoh Philippines, a provider of multifunction printers and imaging equipment, has introduced RICOH Pro C9100 series, the company’s newest high-speed digital printers designed for higher digital print volumes.

The printer series empowers users to transition from offset to digital, delivering improved productivity with speeds of up to 110 pages per minute (ppm) and 130ppm using A4 paper, and provides more media printing capabilities: from paper density of 52 grams per square meter (gsm) to 400gsm for uncoated, textured and coated media; and up to 700mm for duplex banner sheet printing; and speciality media such as super gloss, magnet, metallic, transparent and synthetic. These features permit printers to serve their customers better with fast turnaround times and improved print quality provided by the firm’s advanced toner transfer technology, and Vertical Cavity Surface Emitting Laser (VCSEL) technology, which boasts 40 laser beams emitting simultaneously and optimum image quality of up to 1200 x 4800 dpi.
The Pro C9100 series offers a Straight Paper Path feature which reduces paper jams, and equipped with new Straight Path Belt Cooling System, allowing the printed media to cool down right after the fusing, and maintain production speed for all media types.
The printer series supports advanced external EFI Fiery servers with a new user interface that help simplify file management and job workflow. The series is also available with either the EFI E-43, or the E-83 print server which incorporates a performance of up to 3.86Hz with Turbo Intel Xeon processor, extended 2GB x 8 memory and 500GB HDD to handle more complex jobs easily.
The Pro C9100 series also offers other features such as new Vacuum Paper Feed and Bridge Unit to deliver even the most demanding materials; new Banner Sheet Tray, new High Capacity Stacker, Multi-Bypass Tray, Multi-Folding Unit, and Standard and Booklet Finishers.
Users can optimize their daily use with the robust dual modular design of the digital press. The series offers a maximum recommended monthly volume of one-million pages on A4. Users may also produce output including light packaging, envelopes and direct mail materials to books, general promotional materials, brochures and business cards.
