Australia-based 3C Enterprise Wireless, a machine-to-machine (M2M) financial solution developer, launched in the Philippines its 3C Secure Network (3CSN) technology, a wireless solution to provide banks with dedicated own private wireless network for automated teller machine (ATM) fleet that enables ATM availability.

A fourth generation of M2M networking technology, 3CSN allows for the deployment of real time applications with “Connect Live” M2M, a suite of technologies that ensure carrier connection is available100% of the time; and once the 3CSN router establishes a session, it will remain connected and ready for transactions.
3CSN can be deployed within a few minutes anywhere as long as the location has cellular data coverage. For remote devices, the deployment with 3CSN is as easy as installing the SIM card in the 3CSN router without the need for cable or satellite installations. The solution delivers communications of up to 100 megabits per second. All that is needed is a SIM card to activate the ATM.
The technology is secured, according to Robert Huddlestone, VP for Asia at 3C Enterprise Wireless, with data security built into the solution where traffic is encrypted from the 3CSN router to a platform located in their client’s datacenter. All access to the network is secured.
3C Enterprise is responsible for the installation and testing of the equipment and services/support it provides, while its service provider handles the maintenance.
Banks, malls, train stations, and schools are some of the areas where the solutions can be deployed.
