Panasonic promotes ‘Made in Japan’ premium appliances to achieve growth target

Household appliance maker Panasonic Philippines aims to achieve a growth target of 40% in its appliance business this year with the launch of new “Made in Japan” appliances, such as refrigerators and washing machine.

From an expansion of 32% last year, Panasonic intends to continue to create and launch new appliance premium models that will provide premium lifestyles to Filipino customers to achieve a growth of 40% this year and a target of 46% growth by 2018.

Yuji Majima, Managing Director, Appliance Marketing, Asia Pacific at Panasonic, in his presentation, noted that their expansion strategy will position Asia Pacific, where the Philippines is one of the important markets, as a strategic region.

“Panasonic designs and develops all functions with painstaking attention to detail from the standpoint of the user,” says Masaru Toyota, Vice President for Sales and Marketing at Panasonic Philippines. “Carefully crafting the functions, designs and quality of its products, Panasonic has continued to develop “Made in Japan” refrigerators and washing machines to provide customers with truly premium lifestyles by bringing extra ease and comfort to their everyday lives.”

With five ECONAVI intelligent eco sensors, the Panasonic NR-F681GT refrigerator automatically cut energy by up to 35% as it reduces cooling operation when not in use, and detects food storage volume with light for automatic energy saving. It is also equipped with Inverter Control that when at full power, it cools faster than non-inverter models, while reducing operating noise.

This model boasts a Prime Fresh Freezing which freezes to approximately 3-degree centigrade compared with the typical refrigerator which freezes to approximately -18-degree centigrade to -20-degree centigrade, allowing food to be lightly frozen and never gets hard. It automatically defrosts.

It also has electrostatic atomized water particles that suppress over 99% of invisible bacteria and causes of odors, allowing clean air in all compartments.

The Panasonic NR-F681GT smart inverter refrigerator embodies Japanese quality and design with its simple premium mirror flat glass doors with beveled edges.

Using any kind of soap, whether liquid or powder, the Cuble washing machine, which can wash 10 kilos of clothes, is equipped with an ActiveFoam System with seven jet showers which enables fast washing in 34 minutes.

This washing machine has a new EcoDrying System which is gentle to fabrics and offers energy and water savings with its low temperature airflow. It can dry up six kilos of clothes.

Another important feature of the washing machine is the white LED Touch Panel which is easy to read and operate with a touch. Besides, Cuble is equipped with a high positioned titled drum which enables washing with less water.
