In an interview with UpgradeMag.com, Stephen Bird, managing director and chief technology officer at ION Management Solutions, said that they already established strategic partnerships with other IT vendors, such as Cisco, EMC, Dell, Veeam, Trend Micro, and VMware.

“We will continue to deal with and serve the requirement of our customers, as well as expand our services, products and projects to further increase our customer base,” said Bird.

For Bird, there is a growing awareness of the market, especially in the areas of security and virtualization. But already, Bird cited big telecommunications companies, electricity firms, financial services, and oil and energy companies as some big users of ION solutions. Other industries that the company plans to pursue this year include manufacturing, finance and mining.

Other brands that the company carries include Cherwell Software, Softlayer, Fortinet, Huntsman, Riverbed, and SimpliVity.

Bird mentioned that next-generation security products, and applications and infrastructure management, including virtualization, would have tremendous take-up in the market this year.
