PLDT /SMART Enterprise expanded its portfolio of machine to machine (M2M) solutions for enterprises, just as more enterprises are embracing M2M technology with more and more devices now being used to collect or generate data.
As one of the early proponents of M2M – starting with the launch of the first mobile POS service via PLDT SWUP in 2006 – SMART has since added to its suite of M2M solutions to provide an end-to-end package utilizing the best mobile applications and devices and connected to SMART’s nationwide network.

The portfolio includes: SMART Enterprise’s M2M Merchandising, which tracks inventory and reports stock movements straight to a SMART-powered mobile device; SMART Enterprise M2M Credit, which gives financial institutions an end-to-end M2M solutions package to manage on-field credit investigators and process loan applications; and other M2M solutions designed to monitor productivity of sales and marketing activities, manage the daily task of field personnel, create digital forms and push to mobile devices, and facilitate the sending and receiving of real-time updates and reports from the field.
